Derby 2 is out
It include's longer, wider and bumpier tracks with banked corners and hills.
Car's break up more, and flip or cartwheel! There is also a stunt construction
kit!
What is it?
Destruction Derby is a racing game with a difference...destruction. As
well as your standard racing against the clock, you can choose to earn points
by destroying the other drivers, with great metal shreading crashes!

What's good?
The ability to drive recklessly and score points for doing so is great! You can
win leagues by smashing other cars up!
What's bad
You can't change the joystick settings, so your stuck with using buttons for accelerate
and brake. There's no network play, although you can link over a modem or serial
cable.
The Drivers
Every race has twenty drivers -- nineteen excluding yourself -- and they're all
sort of comically diverse men and women. "L. Driver" wears a patch that proclaims
"I am an idiot," and there are other odd sorts from Pyromaniac to Passion Wgn
(wagon) on the tracks with you.

Game Styles
Four separate modes allow you to determine the amount of crushed metal you'll
see in a given race. Note that there are no speedometers anywhere to be found
in any of DD's modes
Stock Car Racing
Ranks you purely on your finishing position but allows you to take realistic damage.
You get no points for smashing other drivers!
Wreckin' Racing
This mode rates you on both finishing position and number/severity of accidents
caused and takes place on a variety of circuits and drivers.
Points
Earn double points if the car you damage is in first place at the time.

Time Trials
A simple race against the clock. Your best lap times can be saved to the hard
disk.
Destruction Derby
Pure carnage, a bowl full of 20 cars where you get points as detailed above ,
with a 99-point maximum per match.

A single race, where you still get bashed around!
Championship
Once you've selected race style, car and track you can enter a league. There are
four leagues of four drivers with points awarded for winning
and, in Wrekin' Racing only, for damaging other vehicles.
After the race you are shown your finishing position and overall league position.
Promotion from a league will give you six new tracks as well as a brand new
roof colour.
Divison Four is yellow, three is blue, two is red, and the top league is black.

A huge bowl with no exit, trash the opponents 'til their cars stop!
Hints and Tips
Try to flick the opponents nose or tail to spin them 360o
If your front's really damaged, drive backwards!
Cheats
No Damage
When it asks to enter your name use these: !Damage! = unlimited damage
Somebody mailed me the cheats below,but I can't get them to work. Nplayers
changes your name to cheat,but I can't work out where you define how many cars
to race against!
REFLECT! = hidden track NPLAYERS = to choose how many cars to race against.
Anyone know of any more cheats? Please mail them to me!
